Public Canoeing Adventure in Nuuksio National Park

These special starts are for everyone who wants to experience the peace of wilderness of Finnish Nature only 30 minutes from Helsinki. This is a moment to relax and experience tranquility of unique Finnish nature.

Programme

First we'll hike one kilometer along sand road to the lake. There the experienced guide will brief canoeing safety and basic paddling technique before we’ll start our canoe trip.

We'll launch the canoes and paddle on ponds and as the interconnecting canals. In the middle of our excursion we'll have a coffee and snack break. After the break we’ll paddle easy pace back to the place we started our canoeing. Guided tour ends here, but you have an opportunity to stay and enjoy tranquility of Finnish forest – even pick some berries for souvenir.

How to get there

You can come to the starting point of our trip by public transport or by car. We start our trip from a parking lot of the National Park (address:Kolmoislamminranta 2, Espoo), which is about hundred meters from bus stop of buses 28 and 28K.

This program is organised also for groups on request.
